❄ Tessellation Transformations– Develop your own tessellating design by translating, reflecting or rotating a shape!

Contactless kit pick up will be from the Children's Science Center Lab at Fair Oaks Mall (11948L Fair Oaks Mall, Fairfax, VA 22033)

Kit Pick Up is available on days and times that we are open for our two hour timed entries. For the most up to date information, please be sure to check our website at: www.childsci.org

Timed Entry General Admission

Welcome! These tickets are good for 2 hours of STEM fun in our Lab.

All children must be accompanied by a ticketed adult.

We encourage guests to show up 10 minutes prior to their scheduled time for check-in and maximizing time spent inside the Lab. If a guest is more than 15 minutes late for their reservation, we will offer the reservation to walk-up guests.

Members! Please note that you will need to start by signing in using the button at the top right of the page. If it is your first time using this system, you will need to click on the Register button first. Once you have done that and added the tickets to your shopping cart, your price will go to $0.

If you are purchasing your tickets using ACM or ASTC reciprocity, you will need to email us at tickets@childsci.org for a discount promo code. Please allow 48 hours response time. Once you have your tickets, we ask that you show your membership card and ID upon check in. 

As a proud member of the Museums for All program, we offer a reduced-rate membership and tickets for income-qualified families. For more information, please visit childsci.org/MFA.

With at least 7 days’ notice, tickets are fully refundable. With at least 48 hours notice, we will make every effort to transfer your tickets to another day and time within 30 days of your original ticket reservation. Please contact us at tickets@childsci.org or 703-648-3130 EXT 6. Unfortunately, if rescheduling does not work, or it is less than 48 hours before your scheduled time slot, we are unable to offer a refund.
