In Engineering Expedition, campers will: 

📐 Practice using the Engineering Design Process to design, blueprint, and prototype structures and inventions 

📐 Investigate how engineers use physics to make things strong, safe, and stable 

📐 Use both ancient and modern engineering methods and tools 

📐 Meet a professional engineer and explore various fields of engineering

📐 Share what they tinkered with throughout the week with their adults and fellow engineers at a showcase on Friday  

To space and beyond! Go on a journey to the edges of the universe as we explore black holes, exoplanets, and even unexplored parts of our planet. 

In Uncharted Universe, campers will: 

Robots are an important part of STEM and the world around us! Spend a week building, programming, and interacting with robots of all sorts.    

In Riveting Robotics, campers will: 

🤖  Engineer their own simple robots and robotic parts with materials like vibrating motors, LEGO, and hydraulics 

🤖  Explore coding and try their hand at programming a robot themselves 

🤖  Transverse the world of Artificial Intelligence and explore its applications and limitations 

🤖  Redefine what a robot is by learning about real-world robots and the people who work on them 

🤖  Show off what they worked on throughout the week to their adults and fellow campers at a Robot Roundup on Friday  

Can plants grow upside down? Does using hand sanitizer clean your hands as well as washing them? What design makes the fastest paper airplane? With the help of the scientific method, we can find answers to these questions and more!  

In Curiosity Quest, campers will: 

❓  Ask themselves, "What do I wonder?" and chart their own path to investigate their curiosities  

❓  Explore concepts like independent and dependent variables and practice collecting and presenting data 

❓  Research a topic they’re interested in, then design and conduct their own experiments 

❓  Utilize the scientific method by making hypotheses, testing, collecting data, and drawing conclusions 

❓  Share their findings with their adults and fellow campers at a science fair on Friday
