Journey through Earth’s most fascinating ecosystems while meeting live animals, exploring the science behind real-life animal superpowers, and experimenting with how creatures survive in their environments.
In Superhero Species, campers will:
🐸 Encounter Awe-Inspiring Animals! Meet our live animal ambassadors with amazing adaptations from an axolotl who can regrow limbs, frogs who can climb almost any surface, and a hedgehog who defends himself with his super spiky body.
🐸 Experiment Like a Super Species! Test your own senses with listening, smelling, and feeling challenges, and engineer structures inspired by animal architects.
🐸 Explore Animal Science! Extract DNA, grow colorful crystal creatures, and see how biology, chemistry, and physics help animals survive in extreme environments.
🐸 Be an Animal Hero! Help with real animal care at the Lab, learn the importance of service animals, then create their own imagined super species with unique adaptations to face the challenges of the wild.
This camp is for children in rising grades 1-5.

If your plans change and you can no longer attend the camp you registered for, we offer a full refund, minus a $50 administrative fee per week-long camp, if notified 2 weeks prior to the camp start date. Within two weeks of the camp start date we will attempt to reschedule to another camp but are unable to offer refunds unless a doctor's note is provided.
