Seasonal, full-day, school break STEM camp for children in grades 1-3.
The Children's Science Center Lab's single-day Spring Break Camps are presented in partnership with Invent Now, a not-for-profit organization which operates the National Inventors Hall of Fame and Collegiate Inventors Competition.
During STEM Solutions camp, children will:
- Conduct science experiments and tackle engineering design challenges by applying inventive science and mathematical solutions to everyday problems to help the owners of the “E.Z. Science Journal” company!
- Create sand clocks, design an experiment, build a stronger egg carton, solve knot puzzles, and design journal cover art;
- Sketch and construct a new device to help students, create science games, and develop more efficient delivery routes for the "Journal."
Participants should bring a healthy snack and lunch. Please note that the Lab is a nut-free facility.
We require written notice if you need to withdraw from a program. Please send written notice by email requesting the withdrawal. A full refund will be provided less a $10 administrative fee if cancellation is requested with 5 days advance notice. No refunds will be processed within two weeks of the program start day.
