Join us in the Lab for Kids Night, Neon Night! This is a night to make new friends who share a love of science! Enjoy special, glow in the dark themed science activities and make items to take home.
Guests will:
- combine chemistry and cooking in Glow Noodles. This edible science activity allows kids to experiment with B12 to make glowing, edible noodles.
- create fantastic glow in the dark slime to take home.
- formulate and test various luminescent materials to create Glow in the Dark Paint.
Enjoy dinner, movies, exclusive access to all of the exhibit areas, and take over the Discovery Zone, a gallery usually for just the little ones. Build to your heart’s content with our imagination playground blocks.
Pizza, fruit, drinks and dessert will be served in the Garage while enjoying science movies. Our experienced, knowledgeable team will then place your child on a team of explorers, rotating through each gallery.
Participants may sign up with siblings or friends. Children will be checked in at Guest Services. Children will be checked out to the parent checking in, unless previously noted, at Guest Services.
Please note that this is a drop-off only event. If your child experiences separation anxiety or needs individual attention to eat or visit the bathroom, this event is not recommended.
