From keeping food at the right temperature to powering TVs to allowing long-distance communication, electricity is an important part of modern life! Spend a day at the Lab exploring energy and how it powers our lives.
In It’s Electric!, campers will:
💡 Assemble their own circuits to power a load like a light, buzzer, or motor
💡 Learn about conductors and insulators and how they impact the electrical currents
💡 Wire a dazzling light-up creation to take home
💡 Get up close and personal with our Van de Graaff generator, and feel the hair-raising static electricity it produces

If your plans change and you can no longer attend the camp you registered for, we offer a full refund, minus a $20 administrative fee per single day camp, if notified 2 weeks prior to the camp start date. Within two weeks of the camp start date we will attempt to reschedule to another camp but are unable to offer refunds unless a doctor's note is provided.
