Whacky animals, fantastical plants, and extraordinary weather: Earth is full of phenomena that excite, intrigue, and inspire us! Curious about what makes our planet happy? Join us as we embark on a journey around our wild and wonderous world and discover new ways to be champions for our planet. 

In Happy Planet, campers will:

🌎 Get a behind-the-scenes look at the hedgehog, axolotl, frogs, and other animals in our BioZone and meet some of them through up close animal encounters. 

🌎 Plant seeds to watch grow throughout the week and plant their own mini greenhouse to take home.

🌎 Dissect owl pellets, model food webs, and explore pollination to learn about the unique roles of different living things and their ecosystems.

🌎 Dive into exciting hands-on experiments to discover the amazing science behind water, air, plants, and animals.

🌎 Investigate what makes our planet happy and the role humans can play in that.

This camp is for children entering grades 1-5 in the fall.

If your plans change and you can no longer attend the camp you registered for, we offer a full refund, minus a $50 administrative fee per week-long camp, if notified 2 weeks prior to the camp start date. Within two weeks of the camp start date we will attempt to reschedule to another camp but are unable to offer refunds unless a doctor's note is provided.
