Designed for children currently enrolled in grades K through 5.
Whisk it up with us in our kitchen science camp, Fun with Food! Find out how boba bubbles are made, experiment with a vitamin that can glow in the dark and use fruit and vegetables to make electricity. Come on into our science kitchen and conduct hands-on experiments all with edible ingredients!
*Note: while we will be experimenting with food, we will not be eating while in camp*
During Fun with Food! - Campers will:
🍴 Use algae and salt to make a polymer ball – otherwise known as boba bubbles!
🍴 Cook up glow-in-the-dark noodles to take home.
🍴 Experiment with produce from pickles to potatoes to create a battery and channel electricity!
🍴 Play with the surface tension of milk to create a colorful explosion.
🍴Test the density of fruit in liquids from water to soda!
Participants must bring their own nut-free lunch and snack. Aftercare is from 3pm - 5pm and available for $35.

We require written notice if you need to withdraw from a program. Please send written notice by email requesting the withdrawal. A full refund will be provided less a $10 administrative fee if cancellation is requested with 5 days advance notice. No refunds will be processed within two weeks of the program start day.
