Exponential Potential: Exploring STEM Careers

Wednesday December 29

9:30 AM  –  12:30 PM

Explore the Exponential Potential of STEM with us as we try our hands at STEM careers and meet professional scientists working in the field! Learn all about chemists that work outside of labs, physicists that help people and animals, and programmers that code to make the world a better place!

In this camp, we will:

🥼 Conduct chemistry experiments with household supplies that have real world applications.

🥼 Engineer our own construction to practice civil engineering.

🥼 Create a code that will save the world!

🥼 Meet a guest scientist working in the field.

This camp is relevant to the Brownie and Junior Girl Scout badge, STEM Career Exploration. While it may not complete all specific requirements for the badge, we encourage you to use it as a part of your badge exploration.

Each day of virtual camp consists of three hours of a structured zoom session and a kit with all the materials necessary for the camp activities.  Kits will need to be picked up at one of the designated times specified when you check out.

Camps are designed for current 2nd-6th graders.

We require written notice if you need to withdraw from a program. Please send written notice by email requesting the withdrawal.
