The Children's Science Center Lab's single-day Winter Break Camps are creative opportunities for hands-on learning. This STEM camp is designed for children in grades 1-4.

Campers will work together to solve challenges all over the Lab while using science to "escape".  Explore the basics of chemistry and engineering in a positive environment, all the while enjoying a fantastic adventure!

During Escape Room, Lab Edition, children will:

  • Solve logic puzzles, working as a team.  Learn to collaborate and move the group toward a common goal.
  • Work with changing states of matter and make circuits.
  • Exercise resourcefulness by crafting their own tools to solve problems.
  • Use teamwork to conquer obstacles too big for just one person!

Participants should bring a healthy snack and lunch. Please note that the Lab is a nut-free facility.

We require written notice if you need to withdraw from a program. Please send written notice by email requesting the withdrawal. A full refund will be provided less a $10 administrative fee if cancellation is requested with 5 days advance notice.  No refunds will be processed within two weeks of the program start day.
