DIY Day

DIY Day, Wednesday, January 2, 9 am - 3 pm.
Designed for children currently enrolled in grades 1 through 4.
Do you like to save cardboard and plastic to construct intricate designs? Is DIY your middle name? Want to learn how to repurpose and “upcycle” materials from yogurt cups to old t-shirts? Then this is the camp for you!
In DIY Day, campers will:
* Construct their own wallet out of duct tape.
* Repurpose an old T-Shirt into a reusable bag to carry all their creations home!
* Explore the chemistry of DIY bath products and experiment with bath bombs.
* Create a blueprint and follow the engineering process to design and redesign their own upcycled creations!
Participants must bring their own nut-free lunch and snack. Aftercare is from 3pm - 5pm and is available for $35.

We require written notice if you need to withdraw from a program. Please send written notice by email requesting the withdrawal. A full refund will be provided less a $10 administrative fee if cancellation is requested with 5 days advance notice. No refunds will be processed within two weeks of the program start day.
