Deconstruct It!

This event is no longer on sale.

Friday January 3

9:00 AM  –  3:00 PM

Designed for children currently enrolled in grades K through 5.

Have you ever wanted to break something open to see how it works? Now is your chance! Join us as we Deconstruct It! by taking apart electronic devices from printers to televisions. Peek inside to see the inner workings of these complex machines and understand how energy flows through and how data is stored.

In Deconstruct It! campers will:

-Reverse engineer every day technology such as printers, laptops, televisions, and cell phones!

-Use tools to deconstruct devices and open up the hard drive and motherboard.

-Find and identify simple machines within our devices to understand their inner workings.

-Experiment with power sources and conductors to trace the path of electricity.

-Engineer to put our deconstructions back together!

Participants must bring their own nut-free lunch and snack. Aftercare is from 3pm - 5pm and available for $35.

Member discounts are applied at checkout.
